Throughout the year, Penn State offers a variety of options to help prospective students learn about Penn State, navigate the application process, and complete next steps after applying.

These programs are typically announced eight to ten weeks before each event. Be sure to check regularly for new event listings and opportunities to get involved.

Fall 2024–Spring 2025 Events

Explore the 2+2 Plan

Prospective students interested in applying to Penn State, including all 20 campuses, are invited to attend a virtual Admissions Overview Session! Students will learn how to apply to Penn State, explore the majors offered, and hear about the University-wide 2+2 Plan. A virtual tour of the campus will be offered at the end of the program.

Looking for a better understanding of the changes to the 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the Fall 2025? Want to learn about all the student aid options to assist you with your educational aspirations? Prospective students and their families are invited to join us on-campus for this event.

Fall Semester Campus Tours – Last Chance!

Campus tours for the fall semester will end on Friday, December 13, 2024, before the University goes on winter break. Tours will resume in late January when our Lion Ambassadors return for the spring semester.

How to Sign Up for a Campus Tour
The best way to get to know Penn State Lehigh Valley is to visit! Our campus tours allow you to explore our state-of-the-art science labs, incredible library and fitness center, and vibrant campus life. Tours are led by Lion Ambassadors, current students who will answer all your questions about studying at Penn State Lehigh Valley.

Tour Options:

  • On-Campus Tours: Experience our beautiful campus in person. 
  • Virtual Tours: Take a guided virtual tour led by Penn State Lehigh Valley students and alumni, or explore on your own.

Accepted Student Programs – For Newly Accepted Penn State Lehigh Valley Students

If you’ve been accepted to Penn State Lehigh Valley, whether you’ve already accepted your offer or are still deciding, our Accepted Student Programs are designed for you! This exciting program will answer any questions you have and help you prepare for your transition from high school to college.

What to Expect:

  • Presentations on Key Topics: Learn about financial aid, academic advising, and the 2+2 program.
  • Q&A with Faculty and Current Students: Speak directly with our world-class faculty about your academic interests and hear from current students about their experiences.
  • Campus Resources: Discover the resources available to you at Penn State Lehigh Valley.

Campus Tour: You and your family are encouraged to take a tour with our Lion Ambassador student tour guides.

This program is offered on two different dates. There's no need to attend more than once—choose the date that works best for you!
